Hey there, I'm Théo!
Welcome to my blog! If you're curious about who I am, here's a bit about me.
What I'm up to
These days, I work at La Vitrine, a non-profit in Montreal. We're building a platform that collects all of Quebec's cultural events and offerings. The goal is pretty straightforward: give cultural organizations an alternative to big tech companies while preserving Quebec's cultural identity.
Before this job, I worked on all kinds of tech stuff - software development, Android apps, IoT gadgets, and websites. I spent two years at a startup studio too, which taught me a ton about both the technical side and how businesses actually work.
My background
I have a Master's in Information Systems Management and software development, but most of what I know came from just doing the work.
After school, I went pretty hard on my career in France - working long hours, trying to climb fast. Two years ago, I moved to Montreal looking for better balance. Now I'm focusing on making a real impact at work without burning myself out on overtime.
What I'm into
I enjoy finding new technologies that solve actual problems people have. These days I'm really interested in software architecture and design.
I think what makes my perspective a bit different is that I understand both the technical side and how organizations function. This helps me advise leaders on tech decisions without getting lost in jargon.
